Housekeeping Houseman - Part Time

ion Summary The Houseman is responsible to ensure that standard of cleanliness in assigned areas are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within the established time limitations. Essential Functions Pick up keys and work assignment list from the Housekeeping Office. Maintain the cleanliness of assigned common areas as well as the guest room areas, including vacuum and shampooing of carpet, common areas bathrooms and trash removal. Assist room attendants with heavy lifting, soiled linen and trash removal. Maintain proper allotment of linens in linen closets. Stock cart daily with linen and amenities Clean and maintain each guest room to hotel standard as defined by the property. Maintain service closets clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping. Maintain equipment clean and in good order, including cleanliness and care of equipment, including motorized vehicles. Report any deficiencies to Executive Housekeeper. Clean emergency stairways, including sweeping and mopping and cleaning of light fixtures. Clean up all spills immediately. Report any maintenance issues to Engineering or Housekeeping supervisor. Remain alert, courteous and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times. Constant awareness of safety hazards (ie broken glasses, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious activities) and report to the housekeeping office.   Position Requirements   Minimum Knowledge Housekeeping experience desirable. Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time, and must be able to work a flexible schedule Formal Education and Job-Related Experience This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience. License, Registration, and/or Certification Required Drivers' License
