What You Will Be Doing Ordering any items the lab may need: this includes working with vendors to get the best price quoted Sending out any samples for outside lab service: this includes finding them and printing the shipping label in a timely fashion Hand out any items the lab may need when they are running low and scanning out these items through the fisher RIMS system Put together all the FDA packages once you are given the data from the analysts Log in and puts away all the samples that come in from vendors on a daily basis Help to make copies and any other office type tasks such as filing away old reports or scanning reports to the other labs What you Need for This Position High school or equivalent Good organizational skills. Good arithmetic skills. Good communication skills Ability to lift 40 lbs. Manual dexterity. Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
