Entrepreneurialism, creativity, teamwork, ownership, accountability, high ethical standards and the ability to develop and execute business plans are required traits and qualities of the job. The TBM will be responsible for building, fostering, and growing positive, productive working relationships with Dermatologists, Podiatrists, PA’s, NP’s ancillary healthcare professionals, office staff, key opinion leaders, pharmacies, and patient advocacy groups within the defined geography. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve and/or exceed sales objectives and goals. Responsible for achieving company goals for call plan achievement on all customers. Call plan achievement will be identified and revised by the company as needed. Deliver multi product presentations to customers and identify/increase territory business opportunities using appropriate resources. Produce high quality territory management activities including pre- call planning, sales presentation, post-call analysis, material inventory, call reporting and expense reporting. Deliver sales presentations by utilizing effective sales techniques in order to gain interest and buy-in from your customers. Positively impact sales in territory, display knowledge of key customers, plan, analyze and act upon sales data within geography. Responsible for learning and maintaining extensive knowledge of product lines through reading and analyzing clinical articles, promotional material, technical literature, attending medical meetings/seminars and regional/national meetings. Ability to work with programs within MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Responsible for accurate and timely submission of territory sample inventory as specified by company policy. Increase sales on all products in each relevant marketplace. Responsible for learning and integrating core message and strategy from product management into sales presentations to a variety of customers. Keep current on proof sources and other product literature. Develop and build long-term business relationships with all customers by maintaining call records, key staff/office information and sales history. Independently plan territory routing on a weekly basis. Follow up on reasonable customer requests. Responsible for organizing and lifting product samples and literature from car trunk and from car to customer’s office. Manage territory and personal administrative tasks such as expense reports, weekly/monthly activity readouts, customer information and territory budget. Submit business expenses accurately and completely on a bi-weekly basis. Understanding of managed care with sales territory; knowledge of formulary status of promoted products as well as competition. Ability to travel for sales meetings (3x per year), regional customer meetings and within sales territory where required. Record call activity information and customer history on a daily basis. Ensures adherence to and compliance with all company policies and procedures.   POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required; Business or Scientific disciplines preferred. Minimum of 3 years sales experience preferably in Dermatology Pharmaceutical Sales. Entrepreneurially minded team player Track record of proven sales success. Skilled at creating and implementing successful sales approaches. Account Management; Identifies, engages, and establishes rapport with the key office-based decision makers. Strong negotiation skills and persuasive communication style, strategic thinking & planning skills and superior organization. Possesses fortitude to sell and compete, and be a self-starter. Planning and Prioritizing ability; creates, executes, and updates business routing plans for territory Excellent oral, written, interpersonal skills. Daily and overnight travel may be required. PC skills required (Microsoft Office Suite)
