Business Development Manager
cruiters is seeking a Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for sales and business development of a growing trade show company. Extensive product portfolio includes all hardware, graphics, and ancillary services needed for a customer to attend a successful trade show or event. Candidate shall manage the entire sales process from first contact to securing the close; each sale is then handed-off to a project manager for order fulfillment and post-sale support. Primary Job Functions (include, but not limited to) Identify new opportunities and prospect for new business, aggressively targeting new markets Monitor, develop, and up-sell existing business Follow up on referrals and leads assigned, and generate new leads by cold calling Ongoing networking and industry involvement, event participation Determine customers' needs and prepare proposals to sell services that address those needs based on client’s specifications and budget constraints Budget and Estimate Development Achieve sales quotas. Research and Source items in support of program development Using Customer Relationship Management tool “Salesforce.com” daily and maintaining up-to-date, accurate information. Providing status updates to manager at regularly scheduled meetings. Requirements Working knowledge of the trade show, event & promotion industry preferred Previous sales experience in business to business environment Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build client relationships over the phone Exceptional follow-through, dogged determination, never-ending resourcefulness Experienced and motivated self-starter who displays a high level of professionalism. Results driven, deadline oriented and aggressive with the ability to successfully work with minimum supervision. Able to develop a personal sales strategy to achieve short term and long term personal objectives and departmental sales goals. Organized and detail oriented, outgoing and passionate Exceptional problem solving and follow-through skills Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and requests simultaneously, identify priorities and manage work flow Computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Internet Research
