Regional Sales Director
ecruiters is seeking a Regional Sales Director. This role will be responsible for maximizing the sales and profit of their assigned districts through management, sales leadership, training and development, execution of non-negotiable standards of operation, cost control, and asset protection. The focus of the Regional Sales Director is to build and sustain a work environment staffed with engaged, high performing district managers who create a customer experience that is second to none. The Regional Sales Director reports directly to the Divisional Vice President. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Build a loyal customer base by creating long-term relationships · Achieve or exceed sales and profit targets · Manage entire profit and loss statement for the region · Achieve region’s sales and profitability goals · Recruit, hire, and retain top tier talent · Implement and follow up on district manager Learning Plans, Training Guides, and Information Security compliance · Effectively balance managing the business, coaching and counseling district managers, and participating in area initiatives · Utilize online financial and operations reports consistently and collaboratively · Communicate and enforce dress code guidelines · Develop, demonstrate, and share superior knowledge of products, services, and all promotional initiatives · Communicate, coach, counsel and provide feedback on the Working Together sales and service approach · Monitor completion of thorough and effective store visits by district managers · Delegate tasks and activities to district team effectively · Monitor Workforce Management scheduling system and develop strategies for controlling payroll costs as budgeted · Teach and review visual merchandising standards per company direction · Ensure all access, safety, and security is maintained to company standard throughout the region · Effectively partner with Divisional Vice President, home office support, and Divisional cabinet · Make sure that inventory procedures and processes are performed per company policy · Ensure company assets are safeguarded per company policy · Work with home office merchant team and Divisional cabinet to maintain appropriate stock levels and selection region wide · Comply with all company policies and enforce compliance of district managers Qualifications and Requirements · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent · Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs including holidays and weekends · Minimum of 7 years demonstrated success managing retail sales team in multiple locations and market areas · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Enthusiastic approach to helping customers · Ability to constructively coach others to success · Strong business acumen · Exemplary listening skills · Ability to work independently and lead a team · Strong delegation skills · Effective planning and organizational skills · Time management skills · Strong computer skills · Ability to effectively resolve conflict · Excellent follow up and persuasion skills · High degree of professional integrity
