New York is home to the largest public school system in the nation, and it is falling short.  Right now, we are systematically failing to deliver a quality education to the students who need it the most – only 1 in 10 students from New York’s lowest income communities will graduate from college. As a result, their lives are more likely to be defined by their circumstances than by their potential.
