is corporate location in Melville, NY. There are 2 roles, perm and consultant The environment is Microsoft as well as Hyperion Essbase. They have a large POS, Inventory and Financials for all of their 600+ locations. The SLQ Server group transfers data from Hyperion to SQL Server than gets messaged into various reports for senior management. These reports show each and every location as to various promotions, Sales, Inventory etc so management can make adjustments per location for increased sales, as well as why one location is doing better than others. IT Team (consists of Developers and Hyperion Administrators) is 23 strong. Interview process is phone, then face to face and a 10 question test. Work hours are 9-6 Subsidized cafeteria at location Commuting from Brooklyn, Staten Island and NJ will not work out.  Requirements: Min. of 5 years (U.S.) development experience with Microsoft SQL server, IIS, and cubes. Excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills. No remote work, nor client paying any relocation or travel expenses. Additional: Somewhat local candidates, Queens, Long Island, unless consultant relocates him/herself. Client likes to see candidates with outgoing personality, loves what they do, takes notes and asks questions during interviews. Project Start: Mid to end of January, wants to start interviewing right after the new year. Project End: 6-8 months   Pluses: Hyperion Essbase
