DESIGN DIRECTOR - Mobile UI Design iOS Android

Time Permanent Position for a large US Company. Location: Job is in NY Experience: 4+ Years   Experienced DESIGN DIRECTOR is required having good understanding of both standard best practices and emerging UI trends in UI, and a good sense of how to strike the optimal balance   Job Responsibilities: Support developer teams to ensure they have all the assets, guidelines and user/brand context they need to implement your vision perfectly; and solicit feedback to optimize efficiency process for their needs Direct and manage photo and video shoots Hire and mentor design team as company grows Develop visual identity for all digital platforms and in print as well as marketing collateral Define overall look and feel, branding elements and detailed page level designs Create beautiful, engaging, and easy to use UIs that speak to our users Lead other members of the UI design team to produce designs to your standards Manage, challenge and optimize output of UX designers Work with team leads to set schedules, coordinate in cases of dependencies and set realistic deadlines Job Requirements & Experience: 5+ years management experience 4+ years designing for mobile: iOS, Android, HTML5 Mastery of standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping tools (eg. Flinto) Experience designing for responsive websites Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 A passion for user interface design, from user research thru released product Champion of user-centered design methods Understanding of both standard best practices and emerging UI trends in UI, and a good sense of how to strike the optimal balance Strong typography skills Excellent information visualization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Full Time Permanent Position for a large US Company.
