Publisher Development Account Executive
time Sales / Marketing / Advertising / PR Executive $80,000 to $120,000 New York, NY Relocation Package: No Bonus: $30,000 to $60,000 US Citizenship Required: Yes Job description We are looking for an outgoing, highly motivated Publisher Development Account Executive to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with online media companies and premium publishers. If you enjoy being challenged and want to work in a fast-paced start-up environment then we would like to hear from you. The right candidate is someone who is resourceful, proactive in driving and managing revenue and works well independently and as part of a team. We provide a high energy, entrepreneurial environment with an emphasis on teamwork, integrity and initiative. You must have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry, and you must have existing industry contacts. Duties and Responsibilities: ∙ Lead sales efforts through all aspects of the sales cycle including relationship initiation, negotiation, and closing ∙ Work closely with management and partners to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals ∙ Apply ad technology and product expertise to discover opportunities to expand partnerships and upsell ∙ Serve as day-to-day contact with premium publisher clients and manage aspects of product integration ∙ Maintain familiarity with market conditions, including products, product updates, service offerings and new technology ∙ Continuously prospecting for new business using your existing network of relationships and creating new relationships ∙ Provide key requirements to our technical and product management teams to continually increase the value to partners Desired Skills & Experience ∙ 3-10 years of experience in digital media business development and/or digital media sales, and/or digital marketing ∙ Existing contacts/relationships with large media companies and digital Publishers that can be leveraged as your own book of business ∙ Strong communication and presentation skills; excellent customer service mentality; ability to negotiate, close a deal, and be ambitious on the phone ∙ Strong knowledge and familiarity with internet advertising models, ad optimization, audience trends and technologies ∙ Bachelor’s degree ∙ Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com We offer a competitive benefits and compensation package including: Medical, Dental, 401K, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time.
