TRADE MARKETING MANAGER – WINE & SPIRITS
client is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious alcohol beverage companies. They are currently seeking a Trade Marketing Manager for the greater NYC area. Position Summary: The role will be to serve as the primary liaison with the Brand Teams to develop Off-Premise Trade Marketing programs and initiatives which ensure effective conversion of brand strategy into a relevant format that is targeted for the appropriate channel, market and/or customer. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: • With direction from Director, Off Premise Trade Marketing, facilitate conversion of designated Off Premise strategy to program development for respective brands. Ensure all brand communication is consistent with Trade Marketing practices and program recommendations incorporate fact based insights. • Develop top line program concepts and comprehensive programming plan for the portfolio that ensures an effective fit for the appropriate off-premise channels and retail environment. • Deliver brand message and assist in facilitating the compliance of national brand standards and channel strategies, including merchandising standards, pricing strategy, etc. through regular market visits. • Provide field insight to the brands to assist in strategy development; serve as the field expert for the assigned brand team. Identify opportunities and provide competitive assessments. • Work with assigned Brand Marketing teams to deliver program briefs to agency(s) in accordance with set procedures and templates. Key Contact points (external and internal) • Director, Off-Premise Trade Marketing • Brand Directors/Brand Managers • Division Sales Team • Agencies Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business required; MBA and marketing degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years Sales and Marketing experience required. Minimum 2 years Spirits or wine trade marketing experience. Distribution and finance experience a plus. Compensation: Base salary of $120K plus a highly achievable 25% annual bonus, fully paid company car, performance bonuses and domestic & international career development opportunities. Rich benefits package and generous PTO. Travel: 25%
