This is one of the largest medical jars you'll ever see. This desiccator is larger than most with very thick glass weighing a whopping 21 pounds. It stands 13" tall and 13-1/2" wide so it holds quite a lot. Both the rim of the jar itself and the lid have a 1-1/2" wide band of ground glass to seal it properly. This is in a remarkable useable condition with no cracks in the glass however it does have two small chips on the rim.
