Senior Auditor

y: To $105k plus bonus Responsibilities: Provides leadership as a key Audit contact in covering compliance across global markets. Coordinates, schedules, scopes and leads team activities on audits (incl. large, cross-functional). Identifies control trends in assigned business areas as well as impact to the business and to the bank overall by applying deep and broad business acumen.   Leads analysis of control deficiencies as well as expansion and refinement of documentation for more complex control deficiencies to drive actionable business impact, influences management on sufficiency of correctives actions, recommends audit rating. Proactively implements audit strategy by defining audit scope, audit program, and audit test procedures in area of expertise. Oversee and provide day to day management audit work and supervision of associates. Review and provide sign-off of audit workpapers and project databases. Assure timely completion of audits and issuance of reports. Draft, communicate and clear identified audit issues with business management. Prepare and draft the audit report. Draft and prepare evaluations with manager for associates on audits upon completion of audits.   Qualifications: Relevant Bachelors or Masters degree. CPA, CA, CFA, CRCM or FINRA license preferred. At least 5-7+ years of auditing experience with an internal audit function or public accounting firm, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services industry. Strong knowledge of Global Markets/Investment Banking compliance, specifically global compliance framework. Deep understanding of applicable regulatory rules.
