Senior IT Finance Manager

Strong financial background including planning/forecasting This position will support the overall IT financial planning, forecasting, monitoring and reporting requirements for the System’s team. The IT Finance Manager is a highly visible position in which will interact with the business, vendor management and the finance team. This role will lead the financial planning and management of the IT technology while directing all IT Operations and Network Administration to meet user requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications and implementation of new technology. The IT Finance Manager will provide financial leadership, direction and analysis to the System’s, Finance and Vendor management teams. He/she will be responsible for monitoring and making recommendations on staff utilization and usage of consultants vs. employees. Additionally, he/she will provide strategic support in identifying, planning, and implementing technology solutions for the company. This includes preparing and critically reviewing and evaluating the department business plans against objective; managing the procurement of technology hardware, software, and supplies, as well as for tracking the disposition of assets; participate in rate negotiation with vendors; and support the overall IT financial planning, forecasting, monitoring and reporting requirements for the System’s department. Responsibilities: Monitor and make recommendations on staff utilization and usage of consultants vs. employees Manage software product contracts from beginning to end, including procurement, development, service control, and consultants Support the overall IT financial planning, forecasting, monitoring and reporting requirements for the System’s team. Analyzes commodity and service requirements for the IT spend portfolio and establishes long term strategic procurement plans. Collaborate with Vendor Management and Finance on proposal analysis and negotiating contract. This includes facilitates requests for proposals (RFP,), bid reviews and supplier selection. Maintain inventory of company software and systems assets for the purpose of tracking their corresponding licenses. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field 8 + years of financial and data analysis experience. Sourcing experience in an IT spend areas such hardware and software, application development, and maintenance and/or consulting services is also required. Master’s degree or CPA preferred Strong financial background including planning/forecasting Strong business acumen as well as the ability to identify trends and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines Excellent communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills are required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain operational buy-in with easy to understand analysis.
