The right candidate will have the unique opportunity to be part of our core team, which is spearheading the company into global recognition.  Job Function: Manage and oversee all aspects of our US sales organization within a team-oriented and entrepreneurial environment. In addition to penetrating existing markets, the right candidate will aggressively pursue sales opportunities in new industry verticals as well as strategic partnerships. Duties and Responsibilities: 1.    Manage and oversee the company's US sales force and Sales Objectives. 2.    Ensure to meet and exceed the Account Executives' sales quotas and territory quota. 3.    Develop and implement Account Executives training programs to ensure Account Executives are well informed of target industries, company activities, products and services. 4.    Oversee and direct Account Executives throughout the sales process, and participate "hands-on" in on-site demos, meeting with high-level executives, ("decision-makers"), and closing stages. 5.    Manage, recruit and oversee Channel partners and their Sales efforts through a Channel Partner Program. 6.    Organize Company participation in trade shows, seminars, and similar events. 7.    Participate and represent company at industry trade shows and events. 8.    Negotiate deals and close sales as needed. 9.    Oversee the lead development process, and ensure new leads are "funneled" into the sales process from all possible sources. 10.    Maintain relationships with existing accounts, and expand business within these. 11.    Coordinate customer support issues, installation and training schedules. 12.    Serve as a point of contact to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. 13.    Interact with members of the Solutions Delivery & Support, R&D and Marketing departments to ensure customer requirements are met. 14.    Building and maintaining the Company's database of leads, customers and their potential needs for the company products and services. 15.    In doing so, oversee and manage all activities of inside sales (Demand Generation) and sales admin staff. 16.    Promote leads to the level, worthwhile Account Executives' time and efforts. 17.    Issue periodical reports, indicating actions taken by the entire sales force, including Account Executives. Purpose of these reports is to ensure: (a) adequate maintenance and build-up of sales leads and prospects, (b) adequate "promotion" of "ripe" leads to Account Executives, and (c) adequate activities by Accounts Executives, i.e., avoiding situations where leads are not being followed up promptly, or that prospects are being neglected. 18.    Report on forecast and pipeline in pre-defined scheduling 19.    Assist in all Company activities leading to new leads. Such activities are: sales seminars, trade shows, as well as promoting the sale of specials, such as training and product offerings. 20.    Develop new strategic business opportunities and expand additional markets. In order to achieve primary objective, Manger -- Business Development must: 21.    Develop and implement new business relationships; 22.    Develop and implement marketing activities for company's products and services; 23.    Develop and implement marketing strategies; evaluate market conditions and recommend policy changes to encourage maximum sales activity; 24.    Coordinate and oversee sales activities for the organization. 25.    Able to travel and estimated 60% of the time Qualifications: 1.    College degree, and preferably MBA. 2.    10+ years of experience managing a sales team. 3.    Previous sales experience in selling enterprise solutions. 4.    Familiarity with Windows and Web based SaaS applications 5.    Proven and traceable track record of success 6.    Experience in the Energy industry is preferable Internal Skills •    Be a strong and visible leader within company. •    Understand technology, customer needs, our existing products and strategic direction. •    Build and maintain a sales infrastructure in a predictable and systematic way. •    Ability to work well with others within company. •    Establish achievable targets, along with appropriate incentives for the sales force. •    Enforce accountability. •    Prioritize, execute and deliver on commitments. •    Admit mistakes and implement corrective and preventive actions. •    Lead by example, motivate and demonstrate ability to close and achieve. •    Manage and develop all types of personnel: "hunters", "farmers", inside sales and sales admin. •    Be a productive member of the senior management team, willing to discuss ideas and plans, as well as accept and execute on final decisions. •    Be accountable for results. Personal Qualities -- Soft Skills •    Ability to listen and respect customers. •    Create a trusting, confidence-filled relationship with a customer's executives and decision makers. •    Be presentable and convincing. •    Penetrate and break through the "crystal ceiling" at a customer. •    Proven negotiation skills. •    Understand the critical stages of a sale process, i.e., what is needed and when, ability to facilitate and implement actions to get through hurdles and to "bring it home".
