Energy & Sustainability Analyst

y & Sustainability Analyst Major Real Estate company located in NYC is currently seeking an individual to support the Assistant Director to strategically procure the Company’s energy supply including natural gas, oil and electricity while establishing company-wide energy efficiency and sustainability goals.   Principal Duties: Produce detailed reports on historical energy consumption and spending via various software platforms to provide Operations personnel with information to better manage the energy consumption in Company properties Assist with producing annual budgets Monitor energy markets for opportunities to affect energy purchasing strategy and interface with energy consultants Manage cataloging of utility bills in EnergyCAP software platform creating reports from the system for use by Management. Maintain compliance with NYC Local Law 84 Energy Benchmarking Analyze opportunities and create recommendations for energy efficiency and evaluate the performance of prior projects Support the issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) seeking contractors, vendors and consultants and accurately compare costs between bids The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience with project related procurement in a Real Estate related position.
