/> Booking.com BV (the company behind Booking.com™, the market leading online hotel reservation service in the world) and/or its various support companies throughout the world are looking for people to support the business in the fast-growing hotel markets.     Booking.com (USA) Inc., one of the support companies in the United States, is looking for an Editing Team Leader.     As an Editing Team Leader in North America you will provide Editors with guidance and support in their daily tasks and focus on each team member’s personal and professional development. You will also focus on the Content quality and the commercial strategy of your area (and that of your editors), together with central Content Management, the Regional Editing Manager and local Hotels teams.     You will often be the link between the commercial teams in the Hotels department and the editors. You will be responsible for being a strong voice for the Content department in your area and ensuring that Content’s needs are understood and practiced throughout the office. The Editing Team Leader will have a local team and also support editors in at least one other local office. A strong knowledge of the Content department, flexibility, and strong communication skill are crucial for this role.     Main responsibilities   ·         Manage all operational activities of the editing team, including recruitment, planning, productivity, setting targets, training, appraisals and coaching of the team   ·         Coordinate projects, priorities and workload amongst the team, in line with the company strategy   ·         Take ownership of Content quality in your region, by understanding the local market and promoting Content to all stakeholders in your region   ·         Create and support an environment oriented to open communication, creative thinking, cohesive team effort and trust   ·         Be an effective Change Manager, know how to lead a team through periods of change, displaying motivating and encouraging behaviors Required skills   ·           In-depth knowledge of the Content department overall and regionally   ·           Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a role with international exposure   ·          Minimum one year experience in e-commerce, or hotel/hospitality marketing   ·           Pro-active, flexible and motivating leader   ·           Excellent  communicator with strong networking skills   ·           Positive approach to problem-solving   ·           Ability to multi-task   ·           Flexible and proactive work style   ·           Proven project management skills, especially in prioritization   ·           Excellent knowledge of the English language     Required Experience   ·         Associates degree or equivalent work experience;   ·         Strong analytical skills   ·         Experience with corporate communication and branding   ·         Willingness to travel to local offices and headquarters when required (up to 50% travel)
